SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
MORNING (6 eggs)
I. Rondes, Dance and Merriment [Gather Grounds] II. Crafters' Goods [Gather Grounds] III. Nosegays and Garlands [Gather Grounds] IV. Traders and Merchants [Gather Grounds]
V. Sea Traders' Moorings [Harbor Cave]
AFTERNOON (8 eggs)
I. Weyrling’s Relay [Mavros Bay] II. Rider’s Game of Harbor Toss [Mavros Bay]
EVENING
I. Midsummer Bonfire [Cliffside Shore] II. Mirranese Fortune Telling [Dinah’s Weyr]
The main events of the gather will last around one IC day and it will proceed in three stages, chronologically, so things don't get too confusing time-wise. It takes place late in Sixth Month. The Senior Weyrlings and the Wherlings will be nine months old, the former at a little over 60% of full growth and the latter at 75%. The Juniors will be four months old and at about 30%. Flits from the previous gather and from Brogan's clutch will be nine months old, fully grown and capable of both rising and chasing. (Flights and clutches, however, must be scheduled - PM me if you have an interest.)
As always, you're free to fuzzy-time if you have unresolved threads from the months before.
Firelizard eggs will be hidden through the site in old threads as the gather proceeds – the more activity and posts, the more likely an egg is to be hidden. (There will be an in game explanation as to why they're scattered all over the place.) To lay claim to an egg, post a link to the thread where it was found in Egg Claiming Thread. Each hidden egg will come with a picture and a description of where in the gather it was found, so you can write a post featuring your character’s discovery of the egg, if you so choose, or simply integrate that backstory into your next gather post. The eggs will then hatch sporadically over the course of the IC day. The more actively your character is posted, the more likely your egg is to be hatched.
One exception – if you already have a gold anything, if you find a flit egg that was supposed to hatch gold, it will default hatch to green, and the next green egg to be found will hatch gold. This is to keep things in line with the “one gold per player” rule.
(In the unlikely event that a player impresses a gold firelizard, then creates a candidate who could be eligible for a gold dragon/wher, the gold flit must die or be put up for adoption by another player as wild if the candidate Impresses gold. I know this probably seems stupid and arbitrary, but I'd really like to keep the number of golds per player squarely at one, given the universal demand for them. )
This schedule is preliminary and open to your modifications - if there's an event you'd like to see listed here, or you think the timing of an existing one should be switched around, post below. Likewise with questions, suggestions, etc. You can sign up for a character crafting stall in the gather planning thread, or you can just throw them in once the event starts. I was planning on NPC-establishing the basic threads listed, but if you'd like to take one over so things go faster, just let me know. (I appear to be writing monster posts, so at this rate it may take a day or so for all the morning ones to be established.)

Would it be all right if I started the Crafter thread with Gerran? Since his "wares" are living beings (albeit well-behaved ones) that wouldn't do well in a stall, I think he'd set them up in a fenced-off space to avoid problems with the other crafters.

That depends on how you see your merchant - would he leave them on the boat and not bother unloading them until he was absolutely certain he was going to get a good price, or would he go to the trouble of driving them up the long, steep slope past the cliffs to the top of the island so he could have them up on the gather grounds and presented at their best advantage? (Everyone who plays an animal merchant of some sort will need to make that decision.)
Sorry if things were a little murky. I've added to the instructions in the egg claiming thread - let me know if there's still stuff you find unclear, because chances are other people will have a hard time understanding it too, and I'd like the maximum amount of members to have a chance to participate.
